Firmware v2.3 for the Green Beam Laser Level
Faster settling, a gentler out-of-level alarm, and 12% longer battery life. Here is what changed and how to check your version.
Version 2.3 is rolling out to the Green Beam Self-Leveling Laser Level this month.
- Settling time reduced from ~4 s to ~3 s after the pendulum algorithm was re-tuned on 200 real drop-test recordings
- The out-of-level alarm now pulses for the first 10 seconds instead of sounding continuously
- Standby drain reduced 12% — expect roughly one extra hour of runtime per battery set
How to check your version: hold the power button for 5 seconds at power-on; the version shows on the LCD. Units with serial numbers from batch 26C onward ship with v2.3 preinstalled.
